Autism Spectrum disorders (ASD)
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDS) are a group of neurodevelopmental disorders that affect communication, social interaction, and behavior. The symptoms can vary widely, and may include difficulties in verbal and non verbal communication, patterns of behavior, repetitive, deregulation, emotional dire need of routine problems and to interpret social cues and adapt to changes in their environment. It is a disorder of high spectrum so that is not expressed identically in all people living with him.
Although it is unknown the cause of these disorders, the research has begun to discover that the brains of children with ASD do not show the same connectivity, or communication between brain regions compared to the average for kids his age.
Neurofeedback for ASD
Neurofeedback can be beneficial for individuals with ASD as, to train the brain wave patterns, improved attention, emotional regulation, the sensory overload, and supports the development of skills of communication, adaptive, and social skills. In the same way, helps to reduce anxiety and manage the behaviors of impulsive or repetitive. This approach can complement other therapeutic interventions and provide additional support in the management of symptoms associated with ASD.
